While at University I was part of the Digital Content Team with Sheffield Students' Union. In this time I have covered a variety of events on their social channels including 'Sheffield Varsity', SU Officer Elections, the 2019 General Election, student fairs and many student societies events. Most recently I have been providing clear copy across all of their communication channels, helping to get important messages across to both staff and students about the current COVID-19 outbreak, as the sole operator of the channels. This has involved creating numerous assets and videos to maintain the sense of student community through lockdown. Included in this is editing the remote version of the SU’s brand new music festival, and have working with various student groups to create virtual versions of the year’s usual awards ceremonies.
